The Kite Primary Federation is a thriving partnership of two small and welcoming rural Church of England primary schools: Stockcross CE Primary School and Welford & Wickham CE Primary School, situated just outside Newbury with excellent links to the A34 and M4.

Our schools are united by a shared vision rooted in love, mutual respect and the belief that every child should be known, valued and able to thrive. Whilst each school retains its own unique character and community, collaboration across the federation provides exciting opportunities for both pupils and staff.

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed teachers to join our federation team from September 2026. We are particularly interested in hearing from teachers who are passionate about small-school education, inclusive practice and creating engaging learning experiences for children.

We know that excellent teachers come with different strengths and at different stages of their career, so we are open to considering a range of working patterns and responsibilities, including full time, part time and SEND leadership opportunities.

We are seeking an excellent classroom practitioner to join our team at Stockcross CE Primary School. This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about nurturing children within a small-school environment and who values strong relationships, creativity and collaboration.

The successful candidate will:

• be an enthusiastic and reflective teacher;
• have high expectations for all children;
• value inclusive practice and whole-child development;
• enjoy working as part of a supportive federation team;
• contribute positively to the wider life of the school community.
