At Downsway Primary School we are a flourishing learning community in Tilehurst with a caring ethos and a strong team, committed to helping every child thrive and succeed.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who is:

• Able to work predominately with SEND children on a 1:1 basis under the direction of the class teacher, as well as working with small groups and whole class.
• Committed to developing good relationships with; staff, children, parents and outside agencies.
• Friendly, caring, hardworking and supportive with high expectations.

The role:

• £12.71 per hour
• Term time only
• 25 hours per week
• Working 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.
