Class Teacher

One day per week to teach Modern Foreign Languages.
From September 2025 at Mortimer St. Mary’s Junior School.
Closing date: noon, Thursday 4 September 2025.


We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic teacher to join our happy and successful Federation. This teaching role will involve the planning and delivery of the KS2 Modern Foreign Languages curriculum. 

The successful applicant must:

  • be an excellent classroom practitioner with experience, enthusiasm and competence of teaching a foreign language. eg. Spanish or French, but another language would be considered
  • be a creative and inspiring teacher
  • be resilient and motivated with very high expectations of all pupils’ achievements and behaviour
  • have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • be well organised, able to plan and assess effectively 
  • have effective behaviour management skills
  • be passionate about learning and teaching
  • be committed to the success of all of our children
  • be a team player with a good sense of humour
  • be able to inspire learning and support emotional wellbeing
