ADVERTISING RATES

Each edition is sent in print to approx. 1400 schools across southern England, as well as via email to more than 5500 subscribers. All adverts also appear on this website, and are promoted via Twitter and Facebook. 

We are a term-time only publication. The next available issue for advertisers is October 14, 2024. (Advertising deadline is 3pm, Thursday 10 October, 2024). It may be possible to place adverts online sooner - please email us at greensheets@spikepublications.co.uk to enquire.

Advertising deadline: 3pm Thursday for the following week's issue. If you require a proof, please request one when you submit your advert. Proofs can only be supplied for advertisements received before 10am on a Wednesday.

Please ensure the wording of your advert is accurate before submitting.

Book your advertisement for two or more consecutive weeks and it will remain on our website until your closing date (maximum six weeks).

Boxed display advertisements 

All boxed advertisements include our FREE design service. There are six sizes of box available, with some available in both portrait and landscape orientations. Boxed adverts are designed per school and can accommodate logos and photos if required (adding photos may require a larger box).

Lineage advertisements

Lineage adverts appear in a standard style (no logos, bullet points etc) with a limited number of words. The fee covers a header (i.e. school name, address, phone number, fax or mobile number, and e-mail) plus an additional 85 words (post title and closing date in bold type).

Extra words – 46p per word per week

Please note the following terms and conditions:

• The rate for 2 weeks only applies for same text adverts.
• The above rates apply to schools, LEAs, registered charities etc. Commercial organisations (e.g. teacher recruitment agencies) should contact us for rates.
• Prices are subject to VAT at the current rate applicable. We reserve the right to alter our charges without notice.
• Adverts also count as consecutive if they appear either side of a week in which we do not publish (i.e. term breaks).
• Prices for non-standard design/logos/artwork will be quoted on an individual basis.
• Prices include the upload of up to 3 documents to our website. Additional documents will be charged at £9 per document.
• Where payment has not been made in advance you agree to make payment within thirty days of receipt of our invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest at the statutory rate if payment is not received by the due date.
• We will not charge for an advertisement if it does not appear or if it contains typographical errors that significantly alter its meaning. (This does not apply if a proof has been provided - please request proofs by 10am on a Wednesday) 
• While we make every effort to ensure accuracy, we will not be responsible for any consequential loss arising from errors in, or non appearance of, any advertisement.
• We can accept print ready artwork. This should be supplied to the correct box display dimensions in .pdf format with embedded fonts. Please contact us if you require further information.
• To protect potential applicants, we will normally refuse advertisements that do not identify the ultimate employer. We will also usually refuse advertisments which require applicants/appointees to incur up-front costs. 
• We reserve the right to refuse or to alter copy that directs applicants to, or promotes, competitors’ publications and/or websites.
