Caretaker

Castle @Theale is a specialist provision for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and Autism aged 11 to 16. We are a bespoke, therapeutic environment within which young people are celebrated for who they are and the skills that they have. All students are thoroughly and expertly supported by a wide team of highly skilled professionals to overcome the challenges they face and to enable them to achieve to their very fullest potential.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, pro-active Caretaker to work as part of our site team. You will assist in the maintenance of the school grounds and school buildings, provide security for the Theale site and liaise with contractors.

You will be able to juggle priorities, be flexible and have the ability to work within a team. You will be physically fit and able to work under your own initiative.

You will work under the direction of the School Business Manager and the Site Controller. You will be required to work shifts to fit in with the needs of the school. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff.
