Art Technician 

Term Time Only, plus four inset days, 32.5 Hours per week.
Monday–Friday: 8.30am–3.30pm.
Start date: 1 September 2025.
Actual Salary: £18,793–£19,370 Level 3 (5–7).

Baylis Court School is a popular and oversubscribed school for girls aged 11–18 in Slough, Berkshire. We are seeking to appoint an Art Technician to join our fantastic community. 

The Art Technician is responsible for providing a safe and inspiring environment, assisting and advising pupils where necessary. This is an excellent position for Art graduates interested in developing their knowledge of Art in Education and as a precursor to teacher training. The Art department is in purpose-built studios and staffed with outstanding teachers who deliver a wide range of art and design disciplines.

The person appointed will be given full support in their career development as we believe that development of staff is a key aspect in raising standards for our students. Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous.
