Meadow Park is part of the CfBT trust which has 11 primary and five secondary schools. The school was rated requires improvement by Ofsted when it was last inspected in 2016.

The school community

Many teaching staff are new to the school. The Interim Headteacher has been in post for less than a year, she is fostering a strong team ethos. The school has developed strong links with other schools, both within the CfBT group and beyond, for staff development.
The school aims to develop in its pupils a lifelong love of learning, self-reliance and resilience. About one third of pupils speak English as an additional language. The school has higher than average proportions of pupils supported by the pupil premium, of disabled pupils and pupils with special educational needs.

The location

The school is located in West Reading about ten minutes’ drive from Junction 12 of the M4. There is a frequent bus service to central Reading, which has excellent rail links to London, the South, the West and the Midlands. There is a convenience store within a few minutes’ walk of the school.

Our aim is, and will always be, to help our children to achieve their maximum potential. We believe that the primary school days should be one of the most exciting periods of anybody's life, as new skills and knowledge are gained everyday. Our teachers deliver an engaging curriculum to ensure that a love for learning is embraced and sustained.

The emotional well-being of every child is also an essential part of our ethos. We nurture and help our children to learn how to be happy, enjoy meaningful relationships with family and friends, and live their lives without fear or worry.
