Teaching Assistant

Whitelands Park Primary School has a vacancy for a Teaching Assistant to work in a class or 1:1 basis, supporting children with a varying range of needs. You will be working closely with the SENDCo and class teachers to ensure that the children’s needs are met. The position is available from January 2026, on a permanent basis.
You will need to:
- Work either in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Have relevant qualifications and/or experience in working with children, with possible experience with those with additional educational needs.
- Be flexible in your approach to the needs of the child.
- Have high expectations of all children.
- Be willing to take part in relevant CPD in order to support our children.
- Assist the teacher and ensure all children are supported to achieve the best they possibly can.
- Be a flexible, passionate, and enthusiastic individual who thrives to promote a love for learning.
- Demonstrate a commitment to helping all pupils achieve their very best, regardless of their starting point.
- Have high expectations of behaviour and attitudes towards learning.
- Hold a passion for teaching and learning.
