Teacher - Key Stage 2
- Year 3/4
- Full Time | Permanent
- Start date: September 2026
- Closing date: 30th April
Whitchurch Primary School is a small, one-form entry village school with a strong sense of community and a commitment to providing a rich and engaging education for all pupils.
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic teacher to join our Key Stage 2 team.
This role is particularly well suited to a teacher who has completed their ECT years and is ready for the next stage in their career. It offers the opportunity to develop confidence, take greater ownership of teaching and learning, and contribute meaningfully to the wider life of the school.
The role has been carefully structured to allow a more focused teaching commitment across selected curriculum areas, including Maths and PE. With well-established schemes in place, this supports manageable workload, deeper planning and the opportunity to develop real subject confidence over time.
We are looking for someone who:
- has high expectations for all pupils
- demonstrates secure classroom practice and a willingness to develop further
- is reflective, proactive and open to new ideas
- enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
In return, we offer:
- small class sizes
- a supportive and friendly staff team
- engaged and enthusiastic pupils
- a strong partnership with parents
- opportunities for professional development and progression
Visits to the school are warmly encouraged.
