Personal Assistant to the Governors

Licensed Trade Charity (LTC, Registered Charity No. 230011) operates across two core areas of impact: providing wellbeing and financial support to people working in licensed hospitality and delivering high-quality education through the LTC Education Group (LTCEG), the LTC’s education arm. LTCEG comprises five independent schools across the UK, providing outstanding education and pastoral care to children and young people. We are seeking an experienced Personal Assistant who is a highly organised and reliable individual to provide administrative and governance support to the Chair of Governors and the Governing Boards for 5 schools.

Responsibilities include: Organising and supporting governing board meetings, preparing agendas and papers, taking accurate minutes, maintaining governance records, and acting as a key point of contact for Governors. Ensuring meetings run smoothly and that the governing board operates efficiently and in line with governance requirements.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Excellent Personal Assistant skills preferably including shorthand organisational and communication
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information with
  • Experience in administrative or governance support is desirable but not
  • Full clean UK Driver’s license

This would be an ideal role for a current Clerk to Governors looking to go full time and as such is a 35 hour a week, 52 weeks a year role based at our LVS Ascot school. We offer flexible working, competitive salary & benefits package.
