Join our growing team as an Employment Coach and make a difference to young people and adults with disabilities in West Berkshire & South Oxfordshire.

You will be supporting individuals with disabilities or disadvantages to identify their skills and support their journey into paid employment.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with adults and young people on a one-to-one basis in the community to identify their aspirations and unique skills and match those with local employers to ultimately secure paid work.
• Engage with clients and their circle of support.
• Create client development plans.
• When required, provide travel training.
• Liaise with employers to fill vacant positions and support their quest for a diverse workforce.

Profile
The successful candidate will need to have the following skills and experience:

• Excellent communication skills, energy and enthusiasm.
• Competency in using varied IT systems accurately.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to balance the needs of clients, employers and us!
• Resilient, pragmatic approach to dealing with people and occasionally challenging situations.
• Locally based with a full UK driving licence and daily access to a car is essential.
• A successful enhanced DBS would be required (paid for by us).
• Knowledge of disability or HR procedures is beneficial but not essential as training is provided.
