Assistant Headteacher (Early Years/Nursery Lead)

Speenhamland School is seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced Early Years practitioner to join our Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for leading and developing our Nursery and EYFS provision. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our recently developed, purpose-built Nursery and EYFS environment and to play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the school.
We are looking to appoint a candidate who:
- is an outstanding EYFS practitioner with a strong track record of impact
- has experience of, or aspiration for, leadership within Early Years
- can lead, inspire and develop a team of staff
- has a secure understanding of the EYFS curriculum and assessment
- has high expectations of behaviour and achievement for all children
- is committed to working in partnership with parents and carers
- will make a positive contribution to the wider school community
