The Governing Body wishes to appoint an outstanding Year Leader, to start in September 2021. 

Claycots School is a large, expanding Primary School split over two campuses. We have a newly appointed Senior Leadership Team in post who are ambitious about driving standards of teaching and learning and improving outcomes for all children. 

You will be joining the Claycots at an exciting time, and will have responsibility for leading and managing a team of adults and up to 120 children. We offer excellent CPD including a bespoke in-house training package for Middle Leaders aimed at developing a range of leadership competences.

  • Teach consistently good / outstanding lessons?
  • Want to share your good practice with colleagues?
  • Have aspirations for Senior Leadership?
  • Have drive, enthusiasm and a clear vision for educational excellence?
  • Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills?

Can you:

  • Plan effectively to motivate and challenge all pupils?
  • Demonstrate a range of effective teaching strategies?
  • Create stimulating and supportive learning environments?
  • Engage pupils by delivering interesting lessons, which stimulate curiosity and encourage creativity and independence?
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the National curriculum, particularly in English and Maths?
  • Give feedback that enables reflection and improvement?
