Wokingham Mental Health Support Team is recruiting a part-time Well-being Outreach Worker to start April 2020.
The Mental Health Support Team will comprise Education Mental Health Practitioners, a Well-being Outreach Worker, Senior CAMHS Practitioner, a Primary Mental Health Worker and administrator; the team is led by a Senior Educational Psychologist (SEP). The Mental Health Support Team will be offering support to children who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues. The Mental Health Support Team is offering support to children and their families in twelve WBC schools. The Outreach Worker will respond to appropriate referrals that come into the Mental Health Support Team by offering needs-led, outcome-focused interventions to vulnerable children and young people who are presenting with emerging well-being or mental health issues. The Well-being Outreach Worker will have to be flexible and creative and support children and young people in a range of settings. They will participate in Mental Health Support Team meetings and group supervision as well as receiving individual supervision. They will also contribute to gathering outcome data that contributes to team reports.
Applications are invited from skilled and enthusiastic Well-being Outreach Worker to work part-time (0.8 fte) in the mental Health Support Team.
