Welfare Officer

Required for September 2019 or earlier. Salary range: Level 5 – SCP 13–16.
£22,947 to £24,295 (FTE) including Fringe Allowance (Actual Salary £15,522 to £16,434 per annum pro rata).
Monday to Friday 8.45am to 3.30pm (30 hours per week – term time only) 

We wish to appoint an experienced or suitably qualified, friendly and organised Welfare Officer to join our team. 

The successful applicant will be responsible for the first aid and healthcare arrangements for the pupils while at school. You will undertake administrative duties as required, including the compilation of Individual Health Care Plans and Educational Health Care Plans. You will need to be organised, efficient, confident and be able to communicate effectively with the school community. 

A Nursing qualification, medical training and/or experience of EHCPs would be an advantage, as would previous experience of working in a school environment. Knowledge of Microsoft packages and SIMS would be desirable.
