We cater to the individual needs of all students with learning difficulties at Park House. To meet the needs of individual pupils, we are seeking a support assistant. You will be working with pupils from years 7–11 who have various learning difficulties. Experience of Autism in an educational setting would be an advantage.

Working in a resilient department, you will support the needs of pupils as individuals or in small groups through the day. You will be required to support in the implementation of support plans and provide assistance with programmes devised by other staff.

You will also be required to assist with pupils’ personal needs so will need to be flexible and adaptable.

Applicants will need to have excellent people skills and a warm and empathetic personality. The ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and other staff is important.
