Learning Together, Achieving Success

The Year Three team in our friendly junior school require a Teaching Assistant to complement their work, by supporting children in the development of phonics knowledge, as well as in other aspects of the core skills.

There will also be a requirement to support lunchtime supervision for half an hour a day.

The successful candidate will, we hope, have an understanding of children of this age, and experience of working with children. Key Stage One experience is desirable (although not essential). You will be working with small groups across the Year Three bubble, on specific skills, and may also be asked to work alongside groups in the classroom, to support their integration into whole class work.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to gain experience of a new Key Stage, or of focused intervention work. Full training will be given to the successful candidate.

Our school has a robust safety plan in place for the management of the coronavirus, and interviews will be conducted in a socially distanced manner, on the school site.

The pay for this position, which would be 27.25 hours per week (9.00–3.30), with half an hour for lunch and a mid-morning break), would be £11.799 per annum.

Please contact Mr Domhnall Fallon, our Finance Officer, for an application form for this role.
