Teaching Assistant

Required September 2019. RBWM Scale 3, Range 5–6 (£18,795–£19,171 pro rata pa).
Every morning 8:40am–12:15pm plus one afternoon 1:15pm–3:15pm, with 1 additional admin hour
for planning and assessment .
Total 19 hours and 40 minutes per week.

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Holds NVQ Level Three in Early Years
  • Forms positive and caring relationships with children which motivates them to learn, grow and be confident
  • Shows initiative and the ability to be spontaneous and go with the flow!
  • Has exciting ideas for planning and leading play – based activities
  • Has a passion for the outside classroom and knowledge of Forest school activities
  • Is confident with the EYFS framework and its assessment procedures
  • Is a good team player who is willing to contribute to the ethos and wider community of the school
  • Possesses excellent subject knowledge of early phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
  • Has a sense of humour, combined with energy and enthusiasm
  • Shares our commitment to CPD
