Teaching Assistant 

Required from September 2019.
Salary grade: 4 (11–13). £17,007 to £17,391 – full time equivalent.
30 hours per week, term time only.
Closing date: 3pm, Monday 25 February 2019.

We at Fir Tree Junior School are looking to appoint two enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our vibrant and dynamic team of professionals. One to start from April 2019 and the other to start from September 2019 or earlier for the right candidate. If you have the energy and drive to make a difference to children’s educational needs, we look forward to hearing from you. The successful candidate will be required to fulfil duties to support children’s learning. Duties will involve working with individual and groups of children, preparing resources and setting up for lessons. 

Due to this post having access to children and/or vulnerable adults, candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service check. The possession of a criminal record, including family members, may prevent an applicant from obtaining this post, as all cases are judged individually according to the nature of the role and information provided.
