Teaching Assistant Required

To start asap; 1 Post – 1 Year Contract. 25 hours per week including a lunch duty.
Monday–Friday, Term time only. (February 2019–January 2020).
Actual Salary: £9,949–£10,144 including Fringe Allowance (depending on experience).
Closing date: 3.30pm, Tuesday 12th February 2019.

If you would like to join a school like this, we require a Teaching Assistant for Lower Key Stage 2 children to provide interventions and additional support, under the direction of the class teacher. Training will be provided.

The post will require:

  • good organisational skills and flexibility
  • the ability to follow programmes of work and feedback to the class teacher
  • confidence to take the initiative with guidance and relevant training
  • consistency and firmness
  • resourcefulness and ability to use initiative
  • a good standard of written and spoken English
  • a commitment to undertake training as required – we offer training for both new and experienced staff.
  • working collaboratively as part of a team.
