Teacher Support Officer

Term-time (39 weeks), 15 hours per week.
Salary from £22,071 (G3.23) to £22,438 (G3.24) FTE.


We are currently recruiting for a Teacher Support Officer to provide administrative support to all staff as part of the central team working under the direction of the Service Support Officer, within Berkshire Sensory Consortium.

This is a part time term time role, the salary shown is the FTE will be pro-rata accordingly.

The role involves:

  • General office support for the team including photocopying, printing, scanning and responding to emails from professionals.
  • Database management including the equipment and the pre school groups
  • Creation and production of resources and promotional literature eg for the pre school groups
  • Provide a key role in the organisation of all large external and internal SCS events including marketing, mailshots and registration processes.

The role is hybrid, with the opportunity to work a mix of working from home as well as being office-based with a minimum of one day in the office each week once established in the role. Some flexibility to working hours but they will include a Friday and a Monday be over a minimum of 3 days per week. The hours will be worked during regular school hours and be the same pattern each week.
