We are seeking to appoint a dynamic either full or part time Teacher of Media Studies, dedicated to sharing their passion for the subject with the students they teach. The successful candidate will be joining a small department, working alongside the Head of Media Studies, teaching students at KS4 and 5, following the Eduqas specifications. The ability to also teach A-Level Film Studies would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be an excellent teacher, capable of enthusing students of all abilities. In return for your passion, commitment and drive, we offer a highly supportive working environment and have students who are intellectually curious and keen to learn. We have a legacy of excellent Media Studies results at GCSE and A-Level, and uptake for courses is high. Our Media Studies department is housed in bespoke accommodation and has excellent facilities, including a suite of Macs and access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite.
Easthampstead Park is a vibrant school which prides itself on holding traditional values. Our school culture marries high academic expectations with excellent pastoral care and support. Teaching and learning drives everything we do. We are committed to freeing teachers from unnecessary bureaucracy so they can focus on what really matters: marking, planning and teaching as effectively as possible. An action-research based approach to teaching and learning has been central to our improvement journey in recent years, and we wholeheartedly believe in investing in staff’s continued professional development in the same way that we expect our teachers to passionately invest in our students.
This is a very exciting time to join us. In recent years, we have made excellent progress, and at our last OFSTED inspection (June 2016), we were rated as ‘good’ in all areas.

We aim to deliver the best quality teaching and learning in a school where staff and students have respect for, and pride in themselves, their school and their community.
If you feel you have the necessary skills, mind-set and determination to join us on our journey towards ‘outstanding,’ we would very much like to hear from you. Visits to the school prior to application are warmly welcomed.
