MPS. Full time, Permanent. Required from Easter 2019
This is a particularly exciting time for Brakenhale School. Last week we had an incredible Ofsted inspection (the results of which we cannot publish until the official report is released). Inspectors highlighted the very high standards of student behaviour, staff professional development and overriding positive culture that permeated the school. There couldn’t be a more exciting time to join our fantastic school. We have worked hard to create a dynamic learning environment across the last 4 years and as a result Brakenhale School is a rapidly growing 11–19 secondary school with a strong commitment to high standards for students and staff.
We are a friendly school, with a firm commitment to providing a range of opportunities for our staff and a passionate belief that every student in our school matters. We have had over 500 preferences for 210 places in Year 7 for September 2019 with our Year 7. Brakenhale School is a truly comprehensive school that is regarded by our local community as their secondary school of choice.
Brakenhale School is an Academy, which is part of the successful Greenshaw Learning Trust, and this move has only continued to support the rapid progression of the school.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic History teacher. Ideal for a Teacher in their 2nd or 3rd year who is ambitious for a Head of Faculty role in the future. The successful candidate will join a team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring young people in their learning.
