As a member of The Keys Academy Trust, the successful applicant will have access to high quality professional development, leadership training and career progression. This is a full-time role that initially will be based at The Coombes Church of England Primary School. 

We are looking for a well-organised SENCo with leadership experience who is dedicated to making a difference and diminishing the difference for our SEND children and vulnerable pupils. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a teacher, who understands the importance of providing quality first teaching and interventions and who has the patience, dedication and resilience to help all of our children to be successful at school.

The successful candidate will have a whole school impact, working closely with the senior leaders to ensure that the vision and values of our school are followed. They will also be required to lead and manage our team of talented support staff. As a Church of England Multi Academy Trust we have a Christian vision which permeates all we do.

The successful candidate will be:

  • highly motivated, creative and resourceful, with a deep commitment to ensuring the best educational outcomes for all children
  • passionate about supporting and educating staff in line with current best practice 
  • committed to working with families and agencies to ensure best outcomes for the children in our care
  • ambitious to develop both SEND professional knowledge and personal leadership skills
  • able to think creatively to help the school to diminish the difference for our most vulnerable pupils
