Secondary Teacher

Teachers pay scales (based on experience).
0.1 FTE. Permanent. Required April 2020.
QTS/NQT/Unqualified.

We are looking for an open-minded, curious, kind and inspirational secondary level teacher with the ability to teach English, Maths or Science up to and including GCSE. The successful candidate would have the additional opportunity to teach other subjects. You will work with small groups of pupils across Cranbury College. Your work will be varied, diverse and rewarding.

Cranbury College was rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted in Feburary 2018. We are a multi-site organisation which includes a Primary Site, KS4 Site – Futures, KS3 Site – Pathways, Post-16 Site – Vision. We have an Outreach Behaviour Support Team, offer medical tuition and have a Hospital Teaching service.

Cranbury College is a 132 place alternative curriculum provider, including a Hospital Teaching Service, Behaviour Support Team, Secondary and Primary PRU, Individual Learning Programs, and a Post 16 provider.  

Reading Borough Council currently commission 100 places from Cranbury College to meet the needs of some of Reading’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. The College also offers bespoke individual learning packages to those with complex needs and those who have difficulties accessing any of the College’s sites.
