Secondary Teacher

Teachers pay scales (based on experience). Permanent.
Required January 2020.
QTS/NQT/Unqualified.

We currently have a vacancy for a secondary teacher with the ability to teach science up to and including GCSE, with an opportunity to teach other subjects. You will work with small groups of pupils across Cranbury College. You may also work with pupils on a 1:1 basis.

Cranbury College was judged ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted in February 2018. We are a multi-site organisation which includes a Primary Site, KS4 Site – Futures, KS3 Site – Pathways, Post 16 Site – Vision. We have an Outreach Behaviour Support Team, offer medical tuition and have a Hospital Teaching service.

Cranbury College is a 132 place alternative curriculum provider, including a Hospital Teaching Service, Behaviour Support Team, Secondary and Primary PRU, Individual Learning Programs, and a Post 16 provider.  

Reading Borough Council currently commission 100 places from Cranbury College to meet the needs of some of Reading’s most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people. The College also offers bespoke individual learning packages to those with complex needs and those who have difficulties accessing any of the College’s sites.
