RG3 SCP 5 (£14,125 pa, actual). Full time, 35 hours per week.
Monday to Friday, during term time, 8.30am–4pm (Wednesday 8am–3.30pm).
43.1 weeks paid per year.
Required ASAP.


New Town Primary School, part of the Berkshire Schools Trust, recently judged as a GOOD school by Ofsted, has a vacancy for a School Receptionist & Admin Assistant.

Applicants must have:

  • an excellent telephone manner 
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • excellent IT skills and sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • experience of working in a school office beneficial but not essential
  • the ability to establish and maintain good professional relationships with the school’s stakeholders
  • ability to adapt to and effectively use new ICT packages.
