Level 3 SCP 5–7: £24,539–£25,333 pa inc. London Weighting;
pro-rata for part time hours: actual salary: £21,130–£21, 814; pay award pending.
37 hours per week. Daily, 7.30am–4pm (Monday–Thursday and 7.30am–3.30pm Friday.
Term Time only (inc. INSET) & 5 days during holiday periods claimed as extra hours.
Permanent contract. Start date: asap

Littledown School is a Primary Special School for young people with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. 

We are seeking to employ a School Maintenance Person and Senior Minibus Driver who will work as part of the school’s support staff team, to drive the school minibus, transporting pupils as required and ensuring all school minibuses are kept roadworthy and compliant with legal requirements. The role is also responsible for all buildings and school grounds, ensuring the school site is kept secure, safe and clean and providing general maintenance throughout the school and grounds.

The ideal candidate must have held a full clean, current valid UK/EU driving licence for at least 2 years, be over 21 and must have experience of maintenance or working within a similar service-based environment. They should also be able to be sensitive to the needs of the children the school supports.

Although demanding this post is rewarding for the right candidate. The successful candidate must have a satisfactory enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
