Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer

Salary Grade 6 (£24,313–£27,905 FTE).
Full or part time, term time only, hours negotiable.
Required for September 2019.

This is a varied and interesting role. Responsibilities will include working alongside the Deputy Headteacher(s) in providing the very best safeguarding and child protection support and guidance to pupils, staff and parents. The role will also include accurate record keeping of reports and minutes and attendance at multi agency meetings. The Safeguarding and Child Protection Officer will be an important part of our pastoral care structure and the successful candidate will belong to a team of dedicated and committed pastoral leaders within the school. Good communication and interpersonal skills, plus the ability to remain calm under pressure, are essential for this position.
