Special Schools Allowance, after term time only adjustment.

Addington is an outstanding special school looking to appoint a Routes to Work Manager. As part of the Addington ‘Routes to Work’ department you will join a dynamic and enthusiastic team who are continuously working to deliver high quality bespoke careers education to students at Addington School to best prepare them for life after school, whether this is paid employment or living as independently as possible.

We require someone who is positive, highly organised, a team player and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Working as part of a small team you will be required to: work with students in 1:1, small groups and whole class groups and liaise with parents, school staff and employers. Experience of working with young people with learning difficulties is essential. You will need to have a full UK driving licence and hold business insurance. It is essential that you have a good standard of education, including a Level 3 qualification or equivalent. It is desirable for you to have the following qualifications or experience of; Job Coach, City and Guilds Assessor, Training in Systematic Instruction. However, we will provide training in these areas for the right candidate.
