Reception/KS1 Form Teacher

As part of our close-knit school community, you will be joining a team that works in partnership with families to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils, in a caring and inclusive environment.
The Senior Management Team are currently seeking a full-time Reception/KS1 Teacher on a permanent basis from September 2026. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and qualities:
- Qualified Teacher Status and experience as a Form Teacher in a similar working environment.
- Teaching experience in the Primary and/or Preparatory sector.
- Experience and knowledge of contemporary methods in Primary education and assessment systems.
- Able to use a range of teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
- Able to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the EYFS framework and National Curriculum for KS1.
- Able to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment, and promote a love of learning through play-based and structured learning experiences.
- Able to establish and maintain high expectations for behaviour.
- A committed team member with presence and good communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of success in developing pupils and challenging them to excel.
- IT literate and the ability to apply this skill in the educational environment.
- Familiarity with the ISI and or/Ofsted inspection processes.
- Knowledge of teaching Read Write Inc would be beneficial.
Remuneration: Salary will be dependent upon experience.
