Primary – Subject Lead Experts in Maths: KS1 & KS2

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
September 2019 or as soon as possible.
Part time; 0.2 FTE Fixed term until August 2020 (renewable).

Corvus Learning Trust wishes to appoint a Primary Subject Lead Expert for Key Stages 1 and 2 in Maths. We are looking to work with excellent primary school teachers with a passion for your subject and experience of leadership or as a school improvement professional. The Trust presently has three schools within the primary phase. 

You will define and develop subject-focused improvement strategies, providing support and challenge to each of the schools. You will be responsible for building positive relationships and linking best practice in our schools. You will be required to work together with teachers in your subject area in curriculum and lesson planning. 

You will be involved in teaching lead lessons, team teaching and observations. Your aim is to raise standards through excellent teaching, staff training and by developing effective strategies and resources. 

Corvus Learning Trust is a recently formed family of four schools supporting students from Infants through to Secondary school within the Crowthorne area. All of the Trust schools are successful and thriving, where students are polite, happy, well behaved and motivated. Corvus central team are based at Edgbarrow School in Crowthorne which is located approximately 3 miles from Wokingham and Camberley and 12 miles from Reading. It enjoys excellent links to surrounding villages, towns and cities via the M3, M4 A329M, and local rail networks.
