Nursery Worker (Early Years Educator)

Location: Foxborough Primary School, Langley

Actual starting salary: £17595.00 per annum, term time (38 weeks) plus 2 days
(Annual full-time equivalent salary would be £22882.00 per annum)
Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:15 – 15:30pm, 30 minutes for lunch (unpaid)
Required: September 2020, fixed term to 21 July 2020

We are looking for a teaching assistant with experience as a Nursery Nurse, Early Years Educator or equivalent in a nursery setting to fully support the key person system and support and lead a quality EYFS curriculum ensuring stimulating and varied play and learning opportunities for all the children.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have a full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or higher) that meets the Early Years Educator criteria;
  • Must have a suitable Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy;
  • Will have experience of supporting 3 and 4 year olds in a nursery setting;
  • Will have experience of leading a quality EYFS curriculum in a nursery setting;
  • Will have high expectations and an unwavering belief in the potential of every child;
  • Will want to make a difference to the lives of local children;
  • Will enjoy working as part of a dedicated, vibrant and creative staff.
