Nursery Support Assistant

Start: 25th February 2019.
Salary: Actual £6,316–£7,032 (FTE £16,334–£17,866). 
Maternity Leave Cover – Temporary Contract.
Term Time Only. Monday & Tuesday 8.30am–3.30pm and Wednesday 8.30am–noon (16.5 hours)

Main accountabilities:

  • Support the teacher in their responsibility for the development and education of children.
  • To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the Nursery.
  • To give support to other personnel within the Nursery.
  • To implement the daily routine in the Nursery.

You will have:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum 
  • Relevant experience of working within the Early Years, preferably with Two Year Olds
