Nursery Assistant

From Nursery to Sixth Form

We are seeking to appoint two Nursery Assistants (one full-time and one part-time) to join our highly successful Nursery. The successful candidate will work as part of the Nursery team to deliver and prepare activities as set out by the Class Leader. 

Hours of work will be between the hours of 08:00am and 3:30pm Monday to Friday when the Nursery is in session, from January 2019.

With the possibility of additional work in our Extended Day Care provision and Holiday Club. 

To be successful in this role, you must be: 

  • Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 3, with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience 
  • Able to create safe, happy and stimulated play activities 
  • An effective team player 
  • Engaged with the School’s ethos, thinking creatively and reflectively within an open, honest and hardworking team 
  • Able to demonstrate a strong and obvious commitment to pupil welfare and safeguarding and a clear understanding of Child Protection issues.
