Learning Support Assistant (Level 2)

Required from September 2019.
Hours by agreement; Monday–Friday (mornings plus three afternoons). Term time only.
Full Time Equivalent Annual Salary range £18,065–£18,795.

We currently have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant to join our committed and highly professional team.

The post would involve supporting within class: providing general classroom support; working closely with the class teacher; supporting individual children with their learning, whilst helping them to work independently; administrative work within the classroom including displays, filing and some marking.

You will need to demonstrate a caring attitude, flexibility, resilience and be able to respond to the needs of the children within the class. Good skills in English and Maths are essential to the post. 

Previous experience of working with children with English as an Additional Language – this is desirable but not essential.
