Learning Support Assistant (Level 1)

16.25 hours per week (term time only – 39 weeks). 1 year temporary term contract
in the first instance. Grade B 1–3 depending on experience.
Salary range £18,065–£18,371 per annum (Actual salary £6,786 - £6,901).

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (Level 1) to work in our wonderful school from January 2020.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is able to form positive relationships with children and motivate them to learn
  • Has good interpersonal skills and works well as part of a team
  • Will work primarily with Years 1 & 2
  • Has experience of working with SEND children
  • Has a good standard of English and Maths
  • Is keen to develop their practise and be an outstanding practitioner
  • Is able to contribute to the planning and assessment of pupils learning
  • Able to lead a range of outdoor play activities at lunch times
