1 x Learning Support Assistant

18 hours per week, term time.
Start date: September 2024.
Fixed term until July 2025.


We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our school who has experience of supporting pupils with SEND and ASC.

Are you passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs
on a one-on-one or small group basis?

You will need to be committed to making a difference and have the enthusiasm to raise pupil achievement, as well as supporting their needs.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • experience of working with children with additional needs, including autism
  • the motivation and passion to achieve the very best for the children with additional needs in our care and be relentless in the pursuit of excellence
  • a good understanding of the range of additional needs that pupils can have and how best to support them
  • had experience of following and delivering on a child’s SAP/EHCP targets
  • high expectations of yourself and the children in your care
  • the ability to work independently and with initiative, as well as part of a wider team
  • a positive ‘can do’ attitude and strive to be the best they can be
  • lots of energy, enthusiasm and patience
  • a caring and nurturing approach to supporting pupils
  • excellent communication skills and organisational skills
