Learning Support Assistant (Level 1)

From September 2021. Term time only – 39 weeks.
27.50 hours pw (8.45am–noon & 1pm–3.15pm) Monday–Friday.
Fixed term contract until 31/08/2022. Grade B 1–3 depending on experience.
Salary range £18,562–£18,877 pa. Actual salary £10,347–£10,523 pro rata.

We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (Level 1) to work in our wonderful school from September 2021.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Will work primarily with a KS2 child with SEND
  • Is able to form positive relationships with children and motivate them to learn
  • Has good interpersonal skills and works well as part of a team
  • Has experience of working with SEND children across KS2
  • Has a good standard of English and Maths
  • Is keen to develop their practise and be an outstanding practitioner
  • Is able to contribute to the planning and assessment of pupils learning
