Learning Support Assistant

Bucks Pay Scale 1B point 6–10, depending on experience and qualifications.
Full time, Monday to Friday from 8.30am–3.15pm, with one hour employed
as a midday supervisor for lunch.
Term time only, to start as soon as possible,
Fixed term contract.

Farnham Common Junior School is part of the Farnham Common Village Schools federation. We are a caring and creative school with a strong pastoral framework. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring SEN Learning Support Assistant. Experience of working with children with ASD would be advantageous. 

If you are:

  • able to demonstrate experience of working with KS2 children with special educational needs
  • highly motivated and committed to working as part of a team
  • able to work under your own initiative, think creatively and respond to the needs of the pupils, helping to improve their progress

And you have:

  • a good standard of English and Maths
  • effective communication skills
  • a flexible approach
  • a good sense of humour
  • the ability to go the extra mile
