Learning Support Assistant

Start date: As soon as possible.
27.5 hours a week (8:45am–3:15pm).
Term time only, fixed term, 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Salary grade B: £17, 842–18, 562 pro rata.
Closing date: noon, Monday 21 September 2020.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed individual to become a Learning Support Assistant at Garland Junior School. You will provide support for a child with medical needs to ensure they can become academically and socially independent.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have experience of working in a Key Stage 2 setting.
  • Be confident to support pupils with intimate care needs according to school policy.
  • Communicate clearly and calmly.
  • Be an excellent team worker.
  • Enjoy providing children with memorable and positive experiences.
