Learning Support Assistant

Fixed Term Contract.
Full time salary range £18,795–£19,171pa (actual salary adjusted for term time only contract
and hours worked per week).

We are seeking to appoint calm and resourceful individuals to undertake general LSA duties. The ideal candidate would be somebody who has the appropriate personal characteristics, experience, knowledge and skills in order that they can provide flexible support to children in either KS1 or KS2.

This is a great opportunity for Gap Year Graduates to work in a rewarding environment and particularly those wishing to pursue teaching as a career.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have some experience of working with children 
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Show initiative but be a flexible team player
  • Be resilient and have a solution-focused approach
  • Experience of behaviour management and/or interventions would advantageous
