RBWM Scale 2–3, range 5–6 (£17,364–£19,171 pro rata). Five days, 8.40am–12.15pm
with a 20 minute break between 1pm and 3.15pm. 26 hours, 55 minutes per week.
Required immediate start.

Woodlands Park is a warm and welcoming school in the heart of the local community with committed staff and energetic and enthusiastic children.

We require passionate and engaging learning mentors linked to a named child.

We are looking for someone who: 

  • is experienced supporting children with challenging behaviours; this does not need to be school based, those from a Youth Work, Social Care, Residential Care and Sports Coaching background are welcomed to apply
  • has a calm, nurturing approach with clear expectations
  • is confident building positive relationships with pupils to help them progress both socially and academically
  • has knowledge of ASD/ADHD and SEMH
  • is willing to adapt learning activities to suit the needs of the children, to be spontaneous and go with the flow!
  • is a good team player who is willing to contribute to the ethos and wider community of the school
  • possesses excellent subject knowledge of phonics, reading, writing and numeracy
  • has a sense of humour, combined with energy and enthusiasm
  • shares our commitment to CPD.
