Learning Mentors

Start date: September 2019.
Salary: Bucks Pay Range: R3–17. FTE £21,380, actual salary £18,130.

Due to expansion of the Student Support Team, we are looking to appoint up to 2 enthusiastic and motivated Learning Mentors, to join our positive and hardworking team from September 2019. We have a fantastic team of support staff at TBS who do an amazing job of helping individuals discover their potential. We are looking to add to this team and help our students even more.

The post is for a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, and term time only. We envisage the core hours to be 8am until 4pm which would allow for support with breakfast/daily organisation and after school. There is the need to be flexible depending on the demands of the week, for example supporting with Parents’ Evenings. 

The successful candidate will have a case load of students across the school. The day-to-day role will involve working with these students to help remove their barriers to learning, maximise their academic outcomes and develop new skills to help them be successful and happy.
