Part time KS3/KS4 Science Teacher

Remuneration £9,600 (0.4 FTE). Full-time equivalent £24,000.

Red Balloon – Reading, which provides a blended academic and therapeutic education to severely bullied or traumatised self-excluding children, seeks a 
part-time KS3/4 Science Teacher.

The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for teaching Science on a one-to-one and small group basis, designing and implementing a learning programme for each student, establishing coherent academic plans, recording achievement and liaising with other teachers to plan and organise teaching. Providing evidence of student progress is an important element of the role.

Applicants should be educated to degree level, with a teaching qualification. Remuneration will be £9,600 (0.4 FTE) (Full-time equivalent £24,000).

The closing date for applications is Friday 31st January 2020.
Interviews will take place on Thursday 6th February 2020.
