KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant

Fixed Term Contract. To start as soon as possible.
Salary Range: Bucks Pay Scale 1B–2, depending on experience.
Full time and part time position available, initially on a fixed term contract until 31 July 2019.


Farnham Common Junior School is part of the Farnham Common Village Schools federation. We are a caring and creative school with a strong pastoral framework. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to work with our SEN children. Previous experience or a relevant qualification would be advantageous. 

If you are:

  • able to demonstrate experience of working in a primary school
  • highly motivated and committed to working as part of a team
  • able to work under your own initiative, think creatively and respond to the needs of the pupils, helping to improve their progress

And you have:

  • a good standard of English and Maths
  • effective communication skills
  • a flexible approach
  • a good sense of humour
  • the ability to go the extra mile

The role will include supporting learning (including 1:1 and small group work).
