Higher Level Teaching Assistant

27.5 hours per week; term time only.
West Berkshire Grade E.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Higher Level teaching assistant to support the team in Key Stage 1. You should be flexible in your approach to work, show enthusiasm to promote children’s learning and be comfortable working on your own initiative. The ideal candidate will also have the confidence to step in to cover a teacher at short notice. 

We are seeking individuals with excellent communication skills and a caring and positive attitude who can remain calm under pressure. With a flexible approach you will be a good listener and be sensitive to pupil needs. This role is challenging but fun. We offer colleagues who are keen to support you in the role and ongoing professional development.
