Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Salary: £17,231 to £20,857 pa depending on experience.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 8.30am–3.30pm, Monday–Friday, term time only.
1 Year Fixed Term Contract.

Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed HLTA to join their dynamic team. The role will be varied and interesting, with no two days the same. The HLTA will work with whole classes, covering short term teacher absence, groups of children as well as working with individual children. In addition to supporting teaching and learning, the successful candidate will also take responsibility for either the school library (making sure that the library system is well maintained and that the library is well organised and run) or the monitoring of behaviour across the school. 

The successful candidate will have experience of covering whole classes within the primary age range and be a positive and proactive member of the team. They will cheerful and positive with a can-do attitude.
