Ewelme Church of England Primary School is an inclusive, small village school situated in the heart of the Chilterns. The beautiful medieval buildings are testament to our 600 year history and close connection with St Mary’s Church. Our strong Christian ethos and core values are reflected in the warm, friendly School where caring and supportive staff, governors and parents work together for the social and academic development of our highly motivated pupils.
We are looking for an inspiring leader to join us as our outgoing headteacher retires. This special individual must have proven senior leadership experience and who is passionate, dedicated and with a drive for the continuous improvement of our unique School and talented children. We have strong links with the local community and are proud of our position in it, including our bond with the local RAF base.
The School holds a Good Ofsted Inspection rating and Outstanding SIAMS accreditation; the future incumbent of the headship will look to build on this solid foundation to take the School forward in the challenging world of primary education.
Please download the information pack, http://www.ewelmeprimaryschool.com/vacancies/ for more details and visit us; our children are our best advertisement and along with the Staff and the Governing Body we would be delighted to welcome you to the School on the days detailed in the pack. Please contact the School Business Manager, Mrs Sandra Denton, on 01491 839240 to arrange a visit.
Closing date for applications: 12 noon, Monday 20th May 2019.
