Contract type: Permanent.
Hours: 32.5.
Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR2 + SEN1

High Close School is a flourishing residential and day special school catering for young people with a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. We are seeking an inspirational teacher with high expectations of learning and behaviour and a belief in the capacity of every child to achieve. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is:  

• An excellent classroom practitioner. 
• Is a current Middle Leader or is ready for the challenge of Middle Leadership. 
• Creative in the ways they work with young people and other teachers.  
• Calm and patient even in difficult situations. 
• Able to build positive relationships at all levels, wanting to make a difference to the lives of young people. 

You will have a sound knowledge and background in Science and creative ways to deliver the curriculum. This is an opportunity to lead this important core subject and support colleagues in their teaching of Science.
